Celebrating the new David Geffen Hall

First Republic commemorated the reopening of David Geffen Hall, which incorporated significant engineering improvements, accessible spaces, and artistic motifs throughout Lincoln Center.

As a gesture of support for a beloved client, First Republic would provide tagged glassware during the first month of performances.

Coming TOgether

1 / 3

Pantheon rose petals
In Ancient Rome, rose pedals would be thrown from the top of the pantheon during festivals. A homage to this dramatic and beautiful sight, the falling rose pedals has informed the theme of David Geffen Hall’s architecture and collateral.

Undulated wood panels
“The undulating wood panels are inspired by the mathematical shapes of sound waves. They reflect and diffuse sound, enhancing the auditory experience of acoustic performances on stage.” – Lincoln Center

Dancing “fireflies”
Minutes before the concert begins, a series of small chandeliers start to “dance”, moving up and down. Suddenly, they’ll retract and once they reach the ceiling, the maestro walks on stage.
